Carol returns to Smith & Davis after a decade working in Los Angeles as a freelance Hairstylist & in a high end Barbershop.
With over 25 years experience in the field, Carol honed her craft with leading industry professionals; completing an internship and numerous courses at Vidal Sassoon in Chicago, Los Angeles and London, and continuing education at Bumble and Bumble in New York.
Born and raised in Chicago, Carol’s passions and pursuits have taken her all over the country. Carol finds a great deal of inspiration through art, fashion, travel and nature. Hiking through the spectacular landscapes of the country with her husband being a particular joy.
Carol’s approach to her work is guided by the needs and desires of her clients.She loves creating transformational looks as well as helping clients maintain their signaturestyle. She enjoys crafting shapes and cuts that allow versatility, supporting clients who embrace a low maintenance air-dried aesthetic as well as those seeking a more elevated expression.
Carol is excited to rejoin the Smith & Davis team and build her clientele in the city she’s always called home.
